Window Visits at Summerfield

To keep our residents safe from the current pandemic, visits to Summerfield are a little different than they were in the past. Family and friends have been signing up to visit with their loved ones through our front window on 800 W. We have an Alexa set up so families can communicate with each other through the window.

It is so touching to see the smiling faces as loved ones have the opportunity to visit with each other. We’ve had a beautiful bride and her husband come show her grandmother her wedding dress. We’ve had an amazing birthday celebration, and many loved ones just coming to say hello. We are so grateful we have this wonderful opportunity to help our residents stay connected with their loved ones while still keeping them safe from illness.
