Back In Action

Since the sad departure of our dear Sarah Ray from Summerfield Utah Retirement, we have yet to update our blog with all the exciting news of Summerfield. But have no fear, the interns are here to take care of that. We are back in action with a lot of activities to share. Since the end of Spring and the beginning of Summer the residents here at Summerfield have been kept busy with our Uno de Mayo Fiesta, the Mother’s Day Tea Party, Lucky Penny Day, Memorial Day Party, and our Annual Father’s Day BBQ. As we get more details of those events out, we would also like to announce some up and coming activities.

On June 28th, we are having our Gorgeous Grandma activity. We have invited a group of Paul Mitchell students to come in and make over our residents. Chocolate covered strawberries, lemonade, red carpet, and boas will be included.

Lastly, on July 14th we have Hogs n’ Dogs! For those of you who remember the activity from last year, this is going to be one that you will not want to miss. Roger, our Summerfield Chef, and his motorcycle group are coming to show off their bikes and leather. We hope to see you and your families there to share this fun occasion.
