I am so impressed with Summerfield, especially how they have handled COVID-19. The staff is so friendly and nice and take extra care - so much better than other places we have been! They are so compassionate for those facing end of life and make it the best experience possible, especially considering the circumstances. We are so grateful for the wonderful, organized, and kind people that work here.

When we were looking for a place to put my mother we toured a lot there are some horrible, stinky, yucky feeling places! Summerfield looks like a five-star hotel. We placed my mother there for the last few months of her life I wish we would have done it earlier. They are so kind and nice and accommodating. They really love the residents and take care of them. The difference was stark from where we put my dad! I would never hesitate to recommend anybody to put their loved ones in Summerfield.

Summerfield Retirement is truly a great place. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring. They love interacting with the residents and it shows. It's very clean and updated to give you the most comfortable stay possible. Summerfield Retirement goes above and beyond for its residents and staff.

Summerfield is great. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. From my various interactions with them I can tell they really care about the resident's wellbeing. My grandmother had stayed in many different homes before she passed but none of them compared to Summerfield. It really is a great place for a loved one to live out their final days.

I cannot say enough good things about this facility. They have the most friendly and caring staff and are eager to help the residents with anything they need. I am so glad my siblings and I chose this facility for our parents.

I’ve had my share dealing with multiple care facility’s for my loved ones and I have to say Summerfield by far has been the best place you could bring your loved ones to, it’s vary clean up kept and organized. The staff treats my parents like family and is always their when they need them. From the food made to the rooms cleanliness is all around 5 stars. One thing that’s worried me since the pandemic is the safety of my parents I hear of Covid spreading through Care facilities like wild fire and feared that this would effect my loved ones as well but the polices in place make me feel like they are safe there. It’s very organized on setting up a time to see my parents and polices are very clear and straight forward on the rules. It’s not easy with what’s going on but again I feel like my parents are safe and really well taken care of. The staff has gone above and beyond for me and my parents a huge shout out to some of the nurses Helena and Gwen I think? Also I don’t remember his name but the supervisor as well. I’m seeing reviews on Google and I have to say something my parents have been in two other facilities in Orem alone and Summerfield has been light years above what the others were and I don’t think some people know what it’s really like at other places and the care your love ones get else where. So thank you Summerfield for your excellent care and concern for my family and I.

My father lived at Summerfield for 10 years. The staff created a loving atmosphere and took a personal interest in my father. I cannot thank Summerfield enough for all that they did.

Our mother recently moved into Summerfield and everyone has been very kind & caring there plus it is just the right size, very clean and she enjoys the food!

Having to put a family member in a home is such a hard decision. Picking summerfield was the easiest decision I have had decide. My mom loves the people there, the staff and her friends, she loves having a family and people there. Everyone there is super friendly and makes me feel welcome. I am feel so comfortable asking any questions I have. I feel very included in the decision that are made about my mom. The CNA’s are respectful and know what they are doing. Everyone there is o good at communicating and keeping everyone in the loop. My favorite part about summerfield is how at home it feels. It doesn’t feel or look like a retirement home it looks like a home with many rooms. The dinning area looks like a restaurant and the food is surprisingly good. They are treated like they are at a restaurant with plate set ups and a soda machine. My mom is so happy there and she feels like she has freedom and I love that I know she has freedom but she is in a safe place. Hands down a really great retirement home.

Dan is the Director at Summerfueld and is the reason we chose to place my aunt there. He is very hands on, and worked closely with the residents, their families and the staff to make sure our loved one was comfortable and happy. After visiting many different centers, Summerield was the only place that we felt comfortable placing her in.

Because you are taking time to read the reviews for Summerfield Retirement, then you like myself, recognize the importance of the life changing decision you are about to make. Following my visits to many similar facilities in Utah Valley I tallied the results and found the quality of care given to the residents and the cleanliness of the facility to be among the top. The undeniable positive atmosphere which permeates Summerfield, places it at the head of the list. My daughter summarized the difference up with these words “I especially noticed the caring mannerisms including a smile on their faces as they helped the residents.” My mother was well cared for and truly enjoyed her year and a half at Summerfield. It’s just the right size. Large enough to offer a wide variety of daily programs, field trips, special annual celebrations and small enough to provide up to date individualized care. I encourage you to visit Summerfield and see for yourself. It will be time well spent.

My dad lived at Summerfield for the last 8 months. He enjoyed the wonderful food and made many friends. He liked the activities and was happy here. The staff was always helpful, kind and responsive. They were friendly, professional and showed a genuine interest in him. I liked the bright, clean, comfortable atmosphere.

The staff and management at Summerfield Retirement are a wonderful bunch or people. They are caring, friendly and have genuine care for the residents. This genuine care and love for the residents is felt by not only the reaidents themselves but also their family members who come and frequent the facility. My Father was a resident until his passing and was asked on a number of occasions if he was happy and he always responded hat he was. He would talk fondly of the aids and would often say they made him feel young at heart. He loved the young people and he loved how they would interact with him . There are many activities he enjoyed attending and the staff always made sure they spoke with him and always made him feel welcome. My father would often tell me that the staff had personal one on one interactions with him. These were some times he seemed to enjoy the most. When my father had to go to the hospital shortly before his passing there we a number of staff members who asked about him and showed genuine concern. After his passing I spoke with a staff member who was visibly shaken and upset at his passing which just confirmed to me the love they had for him. It's not just a job but it's lives they can touch and care about. And the Summerfield staff does. Thank you for you love and care you have my father.

The staff at Summerfield do an excellent job and are friendly and caring to the residents and visitors.. It's clean and always smells good when we walk in. They have several services available on a regular basis. We're pleased with the care given to our loved one.
